Shubhika Sharma's bridal couture for 2026–27 turns velvet, corsetry and pop iconography into a love letter to unapologetic brides.

A siren's wardrobe

Madonna and the Sirens is the new bridal couture line from Papa Don't Preach by Shubhika, with pieces such as The Velvet Siren and Madonna's Garden lehenga sets.

The language is pure Shubhika: maximal, witty and intensely embellished, with structured bodices that borrow from stage costume as much as from the trousseau.

The new Indian bride

The collection speaks to a bride who wants personality before tradition, and who sees her wedding wardrobe as self-expression.
